Website Redesign
Rejuvenating an outdated brand into a bold presence that resonates with a more youthful audience.
Wheatland Federal Credit Union (WFCU) has been providing financial services to its membership in Lancaster, PA for over 80 years.
The Challenge
At the heart of WFCU’s commitment to their community is providing youth and student accounts and being a trusted source of financial education to children and young adults. However, their website was outdated and out of touch with the young audience they work so hard to serve. They needed a modern, vibrant online presence that was a better reflection of their work.
Our Strategy
Inspired by Wheatland’s bold brand colors, our design team created a website that is bright, bold, and appealing to their younger audience. The site offers a host of educational resources and highlights the credit unions’ community involvement. Additionally, our team designed and built a unique “Rates” page with an interactive loan calculator and custom loan rates display. We also made improvements to the back end of the site that will help the client tremendously with content management.
The Results
This website redesign gave the Wheatland team the opportunity to rebrand themselves to appeal to a younger audience. Additionally, their new website will be an integral tool as they explore online membership applications, online loan applications, and other online services, which can seamlessly integrate into the site.
