Splash Supply Company
Organic + Paid Search
Using search to connect with users who are looking to connect with nature in their own yard.
Splash Supply Company is a York, PA-based company that specializes in designing and installing naturalistic, eco-friendly landscapes like ponds, fountains, and water walls. They also offer professional cleaning, repair, and maintenance services. Centered around their retail store, the business is known for including a variety of best-in-class pond supplies, including a premium selection of fish and plants.
The Challenge
Splash was interested in using marketing to grow foot traffic into the actual store and promote services like pond installations and clean-outs. Splash already had a strong pipeline of referral business. And their 4.9-star reviews on Google spoke to the excellent work they do. But their past attempts at pay-per-click ads before Tower didn’t deliver, and they knew their website needed more support to do better in search.
Now it was time to focus online, leveraging search engines to increase their opportunities of being discovered by new customers.
Our Strategy
We recommended pay-per-click advertising and SEO. Paid ads would help Splash start showing at the top of search results to reach new customers right away. We created a dual-channel Google Ads strategy focusing on people researching options (Search) and setting up Merchant Center to target transactional intent users (Shopping).
Optimizing their website was necessary. It needed SEO work to build long-term organic authority and to help Splash maintain a presence at the top of the page over time, regardless of how ads fluctuated.
The Results
In the first 8 months of working with Tower, Splash Supply saw increased growth across marketing channels. Their team received 131 form submissions for pond consultations, service requests, and wholesaler applications. They also had 222 phone calls.
Additionally, their team wanted to switch to an e-commerce focus in Q2 of this year. So far, they’ve seen $4,610.85 in revenue from additional optimizations Tower’s team recommended.
