Increasing the online visibility of a construction company through local SEO.
KSW Construction has over 50 years of combined experience as a trusted provider of remodeling and construction services in exterior and interior homes. Located in Central Pennsylvania, they serve residential homeowners and commercial businesses in the surrounding area.
The Challenge
KSW came to us concerned about brand awareness. They had recently moved locations, weren’t getting the quality leads they wanted, and were struggling against better-known competitors. As a construction company, trust and name recognition are very important, but KSW needed help being found online.
Our Strategy
After meeting with KSW, we launched PPC campaigns to get more people to their site. To further support those efforts, we recommended implementing local SEO and optimized site content by creating landing pages for the different areas they serve in Central Pennsylvania. Breaking these up by county allowed us to target location-specific keywords so KSW would start showing up in Google results when people search for construction companies near them. We also updated their Google Business Profile so their new address was distributed everywhere.
The Results
These location pages are now the top-visited pages on their website, even more popular than the home page. Of all the users that click on them, 66% either make a conversion or explore other areas of the site. Now that we’ve seen such high engagement, we are working to create more location pages for other counties in the surrounding region.
