Diamond Credit Union serves the financial needs of individuals in Berks County and the Tri-County region. Through strong values of establishing a community of resources and customer service, the members of Diamond Credit Union have the advantage of establishing professional relationships with the many expertise staff members at any of their seven branches.
The Challenge
Because of the amount of information being updated on the Diamond website daily, their marketing team was diligent about improving the user experience and visual design every three to four years. It was also important to the Diamond team that the website had flexible templates so that they could prioritize information on key pages of the site throughout the year as needed.
Our Strategy
Knowing the sun was setting on their existing website, we embarked on a UX focus group made up of their key demographic. Through that process, we were able to take the findings and apply them to the new site architecture and layout. We learned that key information for members had to be easily accessible, while potential members wanted to find information about Diamond’s services quickly.
From there, the layout of the site was meant to help Diamond continue to set themselves apart in the credit union industry. Leaning into a more modern design, we were able to take the wealth of information available to users and break it up into digestible chunks that favored user interface and funnel mapping for internet marketing.
The Results
Ultimately the website provided the marketing team at Diamond with the capability to customize their homepage template and was able to utilize a variety of templates throughout the site. Depending on the requirements of the page content, the client is able to select the features to help users better obtain and absorb information. Additionally, since the launch of this new site, we have seen an increase in organic sessions and site conversions.
