Oregon Hill Construction has been serving the families and contractors in Berks County for 35 years. With an in-house design and project management team, Oregon Hill is able to provide their clients with superior service for home or office renovation projects. Their full-service approach to construction allows for complete control over the design and build of any project, providing a seamless experience for homeowners from start to finish.
The Challenge
At the cusp of a more dedicated push of the structural design and project management value propositions, Oregon Hill Construction was looking to modernize their logo. The company desired a simpler design that combined their clean reputation with a drafting, designed feel of the engineering services they provide.
Our Strategy
We started with a thorough discovery meeting with the owner of Oregon Hill Construction. We learned about the new strategic positioning as a design / build construction company. In drafting a new logo design, we pulled inspiration from the existing logo, established the application of use for the logo, and studied the competitive landscape.
The Results
After a few rounds of logo options, we were able to land on a version that maintained a nod to the history of the company and it’s previous logo. We leaned into the core mark of the logo by including a mountain / hill, but encapsulated it within an abstract house shape. The abstract house was a way to introduce the engineering emphasis of Oregon Hill in the future in a subtle yet impactful way.
