Stock Photography
Authentic photography should be used whenever possible. However, oftentimes stock photography is needed. It is important to choose consistent and quality images.
- Avoid showing entire faces – this helps make the photos feel less ‘stock’
- Focus on showing actions or interactions
- Feature photography that creates vignette or a sense of place without being too specific
- Look for photos with splashes of green to help tie them into the Tower color palette
- Avid choosing the first result in a search – these are often the most prominently featured and recognizable in the wild – make use of the similar image search to inject some variety
