Web Designer

Tower Marketing is seeking a designer (2+ years experience) to join our design team in creating engaging, cutting-edge websites for an ever-changing, unique clientele. This candidate will need to push the bounds of today’s design trends while perfecting the tried-and-true basic principles, be able to deliver rich user experiences (UX), and help our clients’ brands find and express their unique voice and identity.

Position Location

Full Time; Local Hybrid status required.

Top Skills For This Role

• 70% web design; web including UX / UI, wireframing landing pages, sitemaps, infographics, animations, digital advertisements; coding experience or knowledge would be helpful, but not required
• 30% print design; branding, publication layout design, and typography, print advertisements

Required Software Knowledge / Online Tool Must-Haves

• Adobe Creative Cloud: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop
• Familiarity with Figma or equivalent program

• Have a passion for what you do with a positive and energetic “can-do” attitude
• Executing all visual design stages from discovery to final hand-off to developer(s)
• Stay up-to-date with the latest web trends, techniques, and technologies
• Meet, present, and discuss project requirements, wireframes, designs, and creative concepts to internal team, management, and clients
• Have the ability to clearly communicate concepts and ideas with coworkers and clients
• Work in tandem with the Art Director, internet marketing team, and web development team

Top Bonus Skills We Would Like To See

• Familiarity with SEO and SEO principles
• Familiarity with Adobe After Effects & Premiere Pro
• Experience with the Mac platform and familiarity with Mac devices: iMac, MacBook Pro, iPad, iPhone
• Willingness to write copy for Tower’s website on industry statistics, terms, or blogs pertaining to the web design field

Education, Certifications, And Qualifications

• 2+ years of design experience
• Portfolio, including website designs; please provide link
• Experience in a digital marketing agency: website design, designing for internet marketing, or both
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in design or related field or equivalent experience
